With this change comes a new dribbling system, which definitely offers greater control and feels more fluid. Dame Lillard was missing open jump shots when the goal was yellowish; in 2K's aiming method, yellow means'very close but not ideal. The stick still takes getting used to, but the punishment for obtaining yellows isn't too severe unless you are boxed out, not in a hot zone, or employing a player with poor shooting stats.
The games themselves, full of sponsorships from Gatorade, Mobil, and many more, can sometimes lean too far towards a demonstration of a live game on TV than real play, but as soon as you've got the stone in your hands, which fades away.
