A lame-ish login schedule for daily events plus a single Naruni Race equivalent is not the gospel that was preached about this game in the least. This is the barebones minimum we're getting right now.
The insanity of RMT-ing by AGS is also not helping at all. "Back in my day" individuals were either being banned for the first time or - more leniently - got to that point by the third offense, but at ALL TIMES all the Lost Ark cash earned through the process was always removed, otherwise what's the purpose.
I'm sighing, IDK, am still going to play it for the next few months to come however I'm able to state that the famed Legion Raids aren't playing for me. but I'm certainly not the type of player that would be enamored with them; I prefer the horizontal content the game provides instead.
I was definitely swayed by The Lost Ark Gold River talk also. I'm not an avid player of MMO but in the last MMO I ever played (Blade and Soul), I put my life upon it (I was without work for a period of time) and then I saw the developer getting more greedy to the point where no matter what effort I put into it, I'd find myself behind whales. I knew KR MMO is like that all the time and drawn the line between them. The whole discussion of Lost Ark Gold River and SG being a great developer inspired me to reconsider, and I end up giving an attempt to LA. Then... nothing.
Lost Ark turned out to be just like every other KR MMO released in the Western market for "more money" the developer offers nothing, and while the publishing company (or locally-based team) is in the dark for the most part they are left to make decisions by themselves, p2w (I'll give AGS some points in denying the p2w issue, but their action, or lack of, afterward suggest they got greedy but they return on Yoz Jar... confusing).
