Old School RuneScape is available for free on both PC

Despite the most recent release, RuneScape 3, having the gorgeous graphics of a modern MMO, thousands of players have stuck with the 2000s-era version, Old School RuneScape. Then, Jagex has been able to maintain the servers and continues to release regular updates as well as events even though it being (at at the very least) far smaller and less sophisticated than the other MMO of the game.
The day is today, Jagex continues with its long-term plans for Old School RuneScape. 11 years since its launch the God Wars Dungeon storyline is now complete, with its final boss included as an expansion later this week.
The God Wars Dungeon isn't going anywhere just yet, but it's heading towards its conclusion with the arrival of its final enemy: Nex the General. As the final antagonist in an epic storyline that's been an entire decade in the making so tackling her will not be an easy task even. The number of teams that can be played by players can increase to 80 at a time, so you definitely won't need to take on the task by yourself.
Nex is extremely popular in the game. Any RuneScape update needs to receive 75 percent approval from users before going live. Nex was approved by an overwhelming 90 % of players deciding to add her into.
Anyone with membership at any level can challenge the boss, however Jagex would recommend the following levels: 70 Ranged 70 Strength, 70 Agility, 70 Hitpoints. You'll also need to be able to complete all of the Desert Treasure quest, so you'll have access to The Frozen Door. The door can be used as a way to enter Nex's realm that allows you to play to take down the monster by yourself.
Naturally, as one would expect from a boss battle, there's amazing loot available. Jagex hasn't gone into the details of what's to come but they've revealed that among the prizes up for grabs are an Ancient Godsword, Zaryte crossbow and the Torva armour set.
