Diablo 2: Resurrected Update Brings Back a Classic FeatureDiablo II: Resurrected was updated this week , bringing the old feature back in the original Diablo II game. This feature is the Ladder system that gives players a chance to compete with other players by a more competitive manner of playing the game's story with the characters they've constructed.
The Ladder system comes in various variants and is available for players to play again or to try for the first time based on whether they played the Original Diablo II or not.
If you played the game that was the precursor to this version, you'll be familiar with some fundamental features of this Ladder system. It's available in either the Classic, Hardcore Classic, Expansion or Hardcore Expansion variants with each of them having different rules governing how many lives players have and the content that is available.
"Each mod will come with their specific leaderboard, where players compete to gain experience through strategic planning within the timeframe of a certain period while also being able to access Ladder-specific content," Blizzard's announcement about the launch to the Ladder game for Diablo II: Resurrected said. "When this Ladder season is over, the leaderboard rankings will resetand transition characters into non-ladder play, giving players the chance."
