Diablo II: Resurrected Public Test Realm Set to Launch Tomorrow Ladder Testing is Coming Soon. It seems Diablo II: Resurrected is moving ahead on some long-promised features, since Blizzard has announced that the launch of the game's Public Test Realm (PTR) is set to go live tomorrow. In the beginning the PTR will just be used to test new server back-end features, however Blizzard promises to test update 2.4 which, finally, introduces Ladder Play, is "coming very soon."
Like we said, Update 2.4 will include Ladder play (Diablo's name for an extremely competitive Realm in which everyone's progress is tracked and ranked), some changes to mercenaries and a assortment of tweaks to the individual classes.
