Alongside increasing Brady's OVR to 99

EA Sports marks the retirement of NFL legend Tom Brady by raising the cover star rating in Madden NFL 22 to the most high possible level for the game, 99. This is the second time during the NFL season Brady will be sporting an OVR of 99. He did this when he was initially boosted to 99. In October, he set the all-time career high.
Brady started his journey in his first season in the NFL in 2001, with an OVR of 57, and his rating has increased over the years due to his playing skills most notably with The New England Patriots and eventually the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady also scored the OVR of 99 in Madden 09 as well as Madden 12, Madden 12 Madden 18 Madden 19 and Madden 22.
Brady's final campaign while with the Buccaneers was one of his best passing statistics. He led his team in the NFL on touchdown passes (43) and total passing yards (5,316).
