I'm in need of upgrading my melee guns

I'm in need of upgrading my melee guns. For now, my weapon of choice is a BGS and it's unacceptable for someone at who is my level. I was originally thinking of going for chaotics, but drygores are in a state of collapse and could actually be within my budget.
So I'm seeking your advice. Here's a little bit about me: I'm not fond of being a dungeoneer. The majority of times I play solo as I'm not one to stand in teams. This decreases my xp/hr sadly. I'm carrying an 87k tokens. I've never even gotten 2m xp (which will be required to obtain 200k tokens). If I ever did experience chaotics, it would require me to get twice as much experience as I have up to this level. I'm able to make 1.2-1.5m an hour.
Drygores is superior on all fronts, the real question is about money. Are you able to make enough money in the time it takes for drygores to degrade to be able to keep up with repairs and can you make your money back and accept the purchase as a loss (due to the fact that they are dropping in value and will in anticipation for any new melee updates in the future). Prices are more stable now, but i for one have not yet accepted the drygore trend...
