As they mentioned above, fighter torso is the ideal choice, and you can get it in the moment if you wanted to purchase it. For the legs, I personally like Verac's skirt for its prayer-related bonus (and its manliness). Even if you don't pray for the whole time You could spend your base prayer points to be able to withstand the rigors of superhuman strength (+10 percent strength for the first part of the task is amazing) and the bonus for prayer just makes it even more effective.
About the super sets, the super strength and attack are essential on all tasks, but super defenses could be beneficial to just bring if you notice that you're being hit a lot on one specific task. In any case super defenses are economical compared to other types as the only thing they have to do in that they take away inventory space.
Another thing you must pick up is an DDS for your chosen weapon (if you don't have one already). It's not expensive, and has a good offensive feature that will improve your performance (if you want to feel great after two stacked hits). If you're planning on killing lots of people, be working towards finishing The Hard Seer's Journal and the Enhanced Excalibur is a great healing weapon (+200 Lp every five minutes is nothing to sneer at). There are some requirements and is certainly worth the effort.
If you're having any doubts about slayingplease don't hesitate to contact me in-game (Dimosthimise) or message me here on Sal's. Seers Village Diary upgraded Excal is an L0L, IMO for the simple reason that, based on your master slayer, you'll never need to heal. The other thing I must add to DDS is that is beats CLAWS because you can use it on four different monsters.
