The students from every one of across the Historically Black Colleges and Universities SWAC, MEAC, SIAC and CIAA conferences can sign up through December. 3. for the December. 5 qualifying single-elimination event.
"We are thrilled to bring back the Super Bowl to HBCU students, and provide the opportunity for a once in a lifetime opportunity to go the city of Los Angeles during Super Bowl LVI Week," Natara Holloway, vice president in charge of the football department at NFL, said in the release. "We would like to broaden the League's efforts towards creating accessible opportunities for the next generation of athletes by working with partners like EA that offer more than just an opportunity for young athletes to play but also the chance to learn the business of football by gaining practical knowledge and shadowing experiences."
The 16 finalists are scheduled to tour EA's West Coast studios in Los Angeles and take part during an "experienceship" through time spent with EA workers from various departments. "We are thrilled to collaborate with the NFL in this vital project to capture the joy of gaming among HBCU students," GCN CMO Chris Kindt stated. "We believe our team with extensive experience in esports and gaming will create an exciting tournament that is followed by the exhilaration of competing during Super Bowl LVI."
It's the bye-week fully over, and although it was a great break for me and players from the Detroit Lions players, it's returning to business on Monday.
I'm getting ahead of the game by going back to our Madden simulator series. It's typical to conduct a Madden simulation on Saturday morning to check out the video game series' perspective on the game that is scheduled for the Lions game. As there's no Lions game scheduled for Sunday, I'm going to take the opposite approach to things this week.
