Electronic Arts has acknowledged that there's an issue. There is an apparent fix in the works, though there isn't currently a timetable on when the solution will be released. EA Community manager Blueberry responded to a post on the official bug reporting forum saying EA's development staff is currently working on it.
In light of the fact that there are reports that suggest this bug dates all the way back to Madden NFL 21, it's disappointing that it took this long to be fixed. At the very minimum it appears EA are paying attention. There's no word on whether players will get their saves returned or if they'll be forced to start over.
Unfortunately, there is no known way to prevent this Madden NFL 22 franchise issue from happening, since no one knows for sure what's causing it. It's occurred across a variety of platforms, with reports appearing on EA's official forums by users playing on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Madden NFL 22 players need to keep in mind that saved games may be corrupted when they play in Franchise mode. It's rare, but still feasible.
EA Blueberry says that the development team working on Madden NFL 22 is planning to launch a Title Update to this game during November. A fix for this issue isn't known for this update, but it's a possibility. We'll have news about November's update to come.
The latest Madden 22 patch has removed the the scandalous Former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden from the game. Gruden came under fire and resigned as the head coach for the Raiders last month when emails were discovered that revealed racist comments and inappropriate language from the 58-year-old. The messages are from conversations he'd held between 2011 and.
