The same is true of those courts, which get new materials as well generating more realistic results. The color and material answer is more natural in <a href="www.nba2king.com MT</a> the next-gen variant of the game. But really, the important draw for me is that the audience, which delivers a huge increase over the consoles. The amount of detail present in each member of the crowd is remarkably impressive. They all move independently and are far more detailed, to the point where even human fingers are rendered.
NBA 2K21 Next-Gen Update
Then there are the reflections on the courtroom itself and this is an area where tried and tested tech wins the day. Based on what I'm seeing, I believe the game uses planar reflections as opposed to ray-traced or SSR reflections. Planar reflections are still useful when applied to a single plane like the court but they are much less flexible in a more intricate game universe. In this case, the reflection is changed by shaders used on the wood floors to properly distort what you see. The quality and resolution of the reflection appear enhanced on next-gen versus past. It is even more persuasive and thoroughly realistic. The character of planar reflections also means that objects could be perfectly duplicated and reflections can seep with no issue. The backboard also receives mirror-like reflections which reveal both the hoop itself as well as also the ball while the net receives nice physics since you jam the ball in. None of these features are new to the next-gen variant but everything feels much more refined overall.
Talking of refinement, the updated variant of 2K21 receives some critical improvement to the user experience as well. First, the entire UI has been completely overhauled - it is unique to the next-gen edition. The speed of the storage enables a more lively team selection screen also since it is potential to rapidly load in new character models.
While there's even more about NBA 2K21 to find, I feel that this is a fantastic primer on what you may expect from the new version of the game, but I guess the rest of the question here comes down to how this title is delivered on each the next-gen systems. The <a href="www.nba2king.com NBA 2K21 MT Coins</a> good thing is that they're almost identical visually. PS5 and Series X both offer a full native 4K demonstration - it looks super sharp on both systems and all visuals appear the same between these. The PS4 Pro version that I used for last-gen testing, by the way, also seems to run at indigenous 4K but obviously with reduced visual fidelity. The one difference here, predictably, lies with the Series S version. You receive all the same next-gen visuals because it's bigger brother, only at a lower resolution.
