I think of it like we had been all a scattered deck of cards and after we finally got the heap together and all the hearts/diamonds/spades/clovers finally back together so that we can serve as a whole... a person fucking came together and decided to play 52 card pickup.
God I hate the world lol. These individuals have actually grown up being told that they're appropriate by their own circles on the World Wide Web too and simply Begin to embody it as real people in tasks today and when the real world doesn't fit their Twitter bubble they freak the fuck out
There is a quote a like but that I don't recall who said it when sadly and it goes something like"it is easier to convince a guy he is being duped then it is to convince him he's the fool" and that I think it's actually applicable here
Basically there is a demographic of people who are mad and perhaps even rather intelligent (but very considerate ) who when faced by the reality of their mistakes and failures instead decide that it's reality that's wrong. Ego is a hell of a drug.Mark twain said"its easier to fool a man than to convince him he has been duped." Not sure if that's what you're referring to. In any event It really is mad the lengths people will visit rather than own up to a mistake.
One of my favourite fucking things is that body positivity was appropriated by fat men and women who don't want to face the facts and shed the weight, instead of being used to help people with missing limbs, surgical scars, and skin conditions.Or even: be positive about your body. I don't fucking care. It's probably a more pleasurable way to live than being negative and fat about it and not doing something about it (ie. What I am doing).

As a dude who has fought obesity my whole life, it is not quite as simple as going to the fitness center and/or eating fewer calories. There's generally some sort of eating disorder inherent it a lot of individuals dismiss as"an unhealthy relationship with food"
The body positivity folks are not able to come to terms with the reality that their actions are detrimental to them. They would like to be viewed as fine just the way that they are, like an alcoholic that does not recognize how bad its gotten and blames everyone about them for the difficulties their dependence generates.
