Do not get your hopes up too high for those who will buy Fifa 21. This company is merely idle. They are aware that fans of the sport they are creating a game of will purchase it anyway. Some folks here are these addicts they'll buy anything as long as it has shiny cards. Some individuals like me barely play anything besides Fifa so we'd rather buy a new Fifa than perform nothing for a year. Yea my PS4 is essentially a FIFA machine for the past year. Although I did was able to stop my FIFA dependence for some time when I binge-played TLOU2. Man there are a number of other fantastic games to try out, the Last of Us series is something that you should check out, or even Half life Alyx if you're willing to make the jump to VR is a mind blowing experience, provide other games a go.
However for 15 decades of no competition and mediocre incremental improvements, the sport still sells, and they create even more off MUT now than they do off of just selling the game. A lot of the Madden audience are people who play sports games such as it and NBA2k religiously. They buy like clockwork every year only because they obsess over them. Just because people don't play the titles r/games loves doesn't mean they are lesser.
Most only buy that sngle game Madden or 2k, the time investment to perform everything like badge grinding may take all of your time although I think it's easier now to get to 99 and they would like you to make numerous builds now. I play the thing mainly every year I simply dont get it in release because of the sideshow it is and it drops cost fast. Or maybe the people that is whining on the Internet has nothing to do with the people that's generally buying games like Madden, NBA 2K along with other games in this way. Despite the whining people do here, these games are almost always very great. They constantly have like 7+ different game modes and approaches to play. You may stay away from all micro transactions incredibly easily.
Many gamers don't realize the amount of console sales which take place is rather high just because of its specific purpose to perform one or two annualized franchises. For the individual who buys two matches a year such as Madden and NBA2K every calendar year, $60x2 for your hours and hours of time put into those games, the value is super large. The population of people who fall into that category aren't on r/Games whining about microtransactions and shit like that. They probably don't even possess a reddit account.
I watched an interview for one of the prior call of responsibility annualized games (like contemporary warfare 3 or more so), and the developers essentially said that ordinary players (the individuals who play halo, killzone, battle , other shooters) don't buy call of duty games. Nearly all folks who perform call of duty will only buy Cod and a sports game. And they will do this religiously every year.
