They are remaking base PSO2 visuals anyhow

Despite the intense grind that the match becomes towards the ending (for instance, running the same dungeon like about 40-80 times to gain a single level, collecting Blood Orbs and High Orbs to unlock the little stat boosts that include over over time, and more), I've believed that Dragon's Dogma Online is certainly a good instance of an online game that I feel has definitely nailed the"open field" exploration with solid gameplay, optional combined multiplayer, and provides both an obstacle and relatively casual encounter for people who desire it with no putting up nasty traps for players to get trapped into mess up their assembles. I never enjoyed that in Phantasy Star you can mess up your skill trees even though you get the free opportunity to reset them (it doesn't help when I am attempting to assist new friends play and they spent their things without me guiding them or informing them about why they don't need STR Up and they wind up running through Level 50+ without their stances and core abilities ).
It is going to be removed after a couple of years after all the players have migrated and the only people in the PSO2 blocks are diehards holdouts/nostalgia. Probably. It is a new game so odds are like any Online RPG the first release will not have much about an endgame for the players that hit max level on day 1. It will be wonderful to just switch cubes anytime I want struck up an older UQ though. There is never a reason to not visit magatsu.
Great FAQ, answers a lot of my first doubts. Gosh, this looks so complex. On the 1 hand, kudos for keeping the original game intact so that there will not be a riot over changes people do not like. However on the other hand, since they are remaking base PSO2 visuals anyhow, I wish they would just go 100% and synchronize character models completely. Giving old players a few free style items and unlocks would be sufficient to bribe everyone to take the new system.
Synchronizing 100% character models does not seem easy. The dilemma is that the old outfits and layer use are modeled to fit the older pso2 body. To be able to synchronize it, they would have to recreate from scratch (haha pun) 8 years of cosmetics. That's unlikely to occur. Well, I mean that I would be willing to shed a certain percentage of these cosmetics to keep things intact around versions. Provided that there's a continuous feed of cool new stuff to replace it, I don't mind. I always rotate out my older appearances anyhow. So long as the character versions translate 1:1 it'll still feel like mine.
I would imagine a massive complication to that entails a lot of the makeup from the Western side of things which were exclusive to collaborations, promotional events, and events which no longer exist. The instance I can think of is the Dragon Hunter Frontier Z cooperation where I can imagine the clothes and weapons could unquestionably be provided a visual upgrade together with everything else but I don't exactly understand how the licensing or how the legal side of the cooperation works where I'd wish it was as simple as Sega going through and updating the assets but I don't understand about just how much Capcom is involved in that procedure.
