There's still a lively online community. Annual roster updates, plenty of great online dynasties for all
ability levels.Can you point to a Madden release where all of this stuff was not a problem? Like when was the final'clean' well received variant?Madden 2012 is fairly well thought of as the final"great" Madden.
13 is where they took out a ton of features and led from the MTX path.Damn so I figure the whole EA sports lineup was only mad in 2012 since FIFA 12 (maaaaaaaaybe 13) was the last FIFA I ever enjoyed.IIRC the real game changer was when Ultimate Team turned into something.
They were constantly idle before, but when they realized people would spend more on microtransactions than on the full price of the game and would still purchase every year for what is basically a roster and graphics update, simply because everyone else bought to play on the internet, it all went to finish along with the downgrade was steep.Madden 08 was the GOAT.

I still enjoy Madden 08 to this day and I personally think its the best Madden.All versions have issues.Nevertheless, 2005 was the best year for Madden.
