That entire dynamic is completely gone in OSRS

I've got two that appear to catch me a lot of shit when I talk about them. The passing mechanics in RuneScape are completely neutered (such as after this upgrade ) and fly in the face of the spirit of rs2. Rs2 proved to be a game that is dangerous. Death was always in the back of your head, your death that is possible in addition to the possible deaths of players. Since you might get free shit seeing somebody running on low hp was a massive adrenaline rush. Hell, almost every random event could turn around and kill your ass while you're afk. The threat of passing generated an extremely interesting meta-dynamic throughout the whole game where whenever you were doing something remotely dangerous, you had to make a decision regarding how much gear you wanted to bring together, to <a href="www.rsgoldfast.com gold</a> hit the right balance between speed (because of good/expensive gear) and hazard and your own level of skill and confidence.

That entire dynamic is completely gone in OSRS, and I have never really understood why a neighborhood who is frequently so discriminated against shift (sometimes without even any good reason) seems so broadly accepting of such a fundamental change to the spirit of RuneScape. The manner death worked in RuneScape was a thing which set it apart from other MMOs such as WoW. We need to allow Jagex upgrade and add items that are massive to RuneScape. Big updates would be an early sport like OSRS's lifeblood. There are a few important"off limits" areas to this area, where it feels like it is nearly impossible for Jagex to pass on an update, including new skill(s), new training methods, and new powerful items/gear.

There is going to come a day where something has to give and they'll need to add something like a new skill, or"tier 80" items, or a new training way of your favorite 99 you already have that might be 7% quicker than it was when you did it. If we never let any of the stuff into RuneScape, it is just going to bleed players out and die down the road. There was a post about thing sinks, the other evening, for saying that passing is the perfect thing spout if we make it to be and I had been downvoted. Allowing individuals to loot each others'material is too open to abuse, but death should definitely be more punishing than it is.

In terms of skills, I think that Jagex has yet to propose a new skill that could be novel. Warding is grindy, sailing is merely dungeoneering (however it could be a fantastic raids 3), and artisan inherits all of slayer's problems. A skill seems more like a marketing move what type of activity is so different from the current content it justifies its skill? I agree on everything though. The option is stagnation, although power creep is a legitimate concern. RuneScape ought to get training methods and much better things as time passes, and stronger bosses should be meant by that, etc.

The second one I can not see where you're coming from, although I agree on the first point. No big updates? Did you play back in real 2007 or in 2013 when OSRS was launched? RuneScape is just nothing like the first version. We have a whole new continent for fucks sake. Weapons/gear? Let me just name a couple things: twisted bow, blowpipe, scythe of vitur, rapier/saeldor/inq mace, justiciar collection, kodai wand, harmonised staff... These items are up to enjoy 20-30% better than their original predecessors. Most of them should be tier 90. How much more do you need, really? For coaching procedures, pretty much all abilities have had some updates that have changed their favored training methods. Thus again, I wholly agree with your first point, but you have to rethink the other one IMO.

One that is still in my mind from earlier is the Menu Entry Swapper attribute on third party customers shouldn't be allowed. It is certainly great to have at time, but it is defiantly questionable and pushes the line about as much as prohibited plugins if you think about what it does and the way that players can customize their own stuff. Anything which is currently coming to <a href="www.rsgoldfast.com OSRS gold</a> mind at the moment probably wouldn't be unpopular. Like I really don't believe saying that 2020 was lackluster for content and the remainder of the year looks somewhat dry for updates is that out there of a statement.
