Chicago wasted a performance from Walter Payton, who paced the Bears rushing yards. Sweetness parted the sea knotting the score. It looked like we've got a barnburner in our palms, but that wasn't the case as the final 59 minutes and change produced just a combined 23 points.
For the 2nd sim we saw a player earn top billing with pass-rusher Chris Jones getting Super Bowl MVP honors on the strength of two sacks.

Makes sense, Passing is a Risk Vs Reward situation in Madden. It's true that 30 yard balls can throw but you give your opponent the opportunity to catch the ball leading to a turnover. It's far more difficult to strip than catch an interception. Throw in the fact that running the ball requires more time to score compared to a few passes so you've also obtained the clock in your side. You have got 4 chances to go 10 yards per pair of drawbacks, play with the clock so your opponent does not get any area time with short runs and you're golden.
When guys are compared to a game it is quite different. The strain would decrease but it would be a trick to discover an OL that may hang with that, and they would likely get busted by injuries. Outside of instances like Mike Vick, who basically was successful no matter what the lineup did (until he got hurt and then released as a consequence of his dogfighting). It's super ball and I really don't see it making a comeback, although I really do wish the alternative was something at the maximum degree. It would be difficult to find the personnel, keep them healthy enough to compete, and get the shit before people got too old for that shit.
