It takes a moment but PSO2 definitely worth to perform

As a hunter I would advise using the Crosscut PA that makes your sword big and does a three hit combo. If you wish to branch out I find lance that is wired to be a nice alternative weapon on hunter since it can hit enemies but seems to have reach without having to spam the PA all the time. I would also recommend finding a PA or journey slash to spam so you may cross the map quicker and you can feel as if you're contributing when you party with rangers and bouncers.
If you are the sort of person who builds to follow meta or depends upon manuals and all that You might need to think in a sandbox mindset and decide what types of quest you want to do or what abilities you want to choose. And if you are worried you're going to screw it up, there is always going to be occasions that provide out reset tickets. However I would suggest studying in your class excels exactly what and attempt to invest skill points and I'd invest more in that area if you feel as if you really like using a certain moveset a lot.
As for leveling, there's likely to be gaps during yes and the leveling procedure...grouping with a maximum number of players provides you an exp bonus like other MMOs. Compare the amounts to some other area you attacked and the way you can inform you're dealing dmg would be to judge if a weak spot being attacked by you. There is also some practice quests which behave as tutorial quests in case you still don't understand some things about other classes there's also one in which you fight a rockbear (giant gorilla thing with rocks in it) that acts kinda like a coaching area.
From what I understand about hunter dps, by hitting you enemy that has any attacks you want to construct attention. That lets you charge a good deal of photon arts aka PAs quicker. You then spam half billed climbing slash as it is apparently the best dps PA.. You utilize nova strike for aoe mobs. You want to receive the PA that lets you dash to enemies asap. A PA is also that shoots a ranger strike and that is pretty nice when you can reach or you are aoe mobbing. I also try not to worry to much about ideal safeguarding as a normal guard enables you to survive (usually) and helps you get an idea of how to time an ideal guard next moment.
I still just think people drastically overstate how"expensive" and"complicated" getting a summoner into a fantastic state is. People suggest summoner not runs initially because they say it is so expensive and everything if in actually, just going along with what drops will be more than you'll need. Now the pet and stats are fine, but just like my Redran like (favored furry friend and original I maxed) that's just +130 tec when it is at base of 1097 at level cap and my personality's tec is 1361. In the assortment of stat from the eggs I fed it.
