Whether you're just coming from a hiatus on the servers, or a player, there is absolutely no question which Phantasy Star Online 2 could be pretty daunting if you haven't spent a lot of time with it. Even as a Phantasy Star Online veteran, I had foregone playing PSO2 about the Japanese servers in a silent protest (well, more like in anguished hopefulness it would come to the west), just to realize I wasn't playing as efficiently as I could be in PSO2. Whether or not you decide to wait for the PC release at the end of May, or you need to dive in right now, here are five tips that can help you.
When I first got into PSO2, my plan was to run through each and every trip mission, and complete them all at every difficulty level. While that strategy is solid, if you would like to take the long way about when leveling, there are ways to not just accelerate levelingup, but to also create your battles more... well... challenging.
Once loaded into PSO2, with your class chosen, and first missions completed, you may want to pick up a couple of missions to begin the grind to level 75. When you head into the counter of the mission, you will see a list of quests that are recommended. Daily these quests change. Should you select one, it will load a list of customer orders that you can select up, each of which is another pursuit, by another NPC somewhere else at the heart. You are able to select each one of these assignments at once, while you are out and about to the assignment so you can complete them all.
Most gamers figure out this early on in their match play, but assignment stacking goes much beyond that. Let us say you want to run a woods exploration, or you have a daily mission pop up which requires you kill an enemy that only resides in the forest. You can then travel to every NPC quest giver, and assess alter the quest filter from"All Quests" into the specific area you will be heading to. This will pull up every quest. A number of these quests won't even show up on the recommended quests list! This is 1 method so that you get the most from every expedition that you do to pile a ton of quests at the same time.
