So, to play devil's advocate for a moment: are the PC players"eligible" for needing to get any kind of info about a game that was designed, developed and originally released for PC, to even know if it's really coming or not given that the last time they were promised a release it ended vanishing for several decades. Whereas the people who snore with"just spend two to four hundred dollars in an xbox such as I did, it's not much" aren't? Because you are the only person that talks about something or scheming. Most people just need any level of communication wheras the players are endlessly insufferable and pretty hostile about it, from the programmers.
You'd see you're wrong to say that I am the sole mentioning anything about scheming, if you could be bothered to browse through this thread. If I had not already seen it here, I would not have used that choice of word is an exaggeration. Even you're suggesting that Microsoft is lying, and nobody"even knows whether it's really coming", if SEGA has just reiterated it's still on track for Spring. Nobody is saying PC players you have a right to want more information. When you guys start saying Microsoft is lying to you or that Phil Spencer wants to market XBL Gold you seem extremely qualified though.
The most simple answer is, they are not currently answering a lot of questions and they left it an xbox exclusive. As of now, the beta is only for Xbox players, so they won't say how much time it's going to be until PC is permitted to play and that is the thing. They aren't currently running an open beta only to check such and servers, they are doing it so people will purchase an xbox and xbox live to play the game. This is marketing 101, and folks are mad.
Why are people mad it is a timed exclusive for Xbox? Well that is because they off haven't announced an end date into the exclusive. So PC players are compelled to sit in the dark and wait patiently. They also have announced that release, which places PC players behind will be rolled into by beta progress that was open. PC players can be put back 3 to 4 months behind xbox players, which for a MMO is a really bad thing for your community.
This timed exclusive includes things, a few of which were given out to the test, which is unfair to PC players since we had been told to go out and buy an xbox or lose out on the chance for products. Ontop of that apparently the beta test advancement is also rolling over. Placing behind Xbox players.
