RS3 is not actually cheap RuneScape gold a terrible game, it's only that the larger portion of the runescape playerbase needed to retain the"oldschool" and fundamental mechanics the runescape game had to offer. That doesn't make the runescape game bad. At turning an older game into something more 15, they've performed well. The problem with that is that all the"older" content then becomes obselete if you don't literally go backa nd rework everything from the ground up.
A prime illustration of just how deluded and bias people are on this sub; Time and time again I see people mention RS3 sucks because it has low runescape playercount. That is a silly method of estimating a game. In the grand scheme of things - 46k is not a massive difference. A number of the games now are currently pulling on hundreds of thousands. Does this logic imply OSRS and RS3 are skip trash because they have runescape playercounts?
I know I am gonna get downvoted to shit for this but there's nothing realistic about the older model either (except possibly the helmet). Just like the hell are you currently expected to proceed in that matter? How do the joints around the buttocks work? How is it even possible to bend or twist your chest? The long and short of this is, you'd be about as mobile as a statue in armour like this. Let look at the model cuz it's also pretty bad. Those shoulders, you would have next to no freedom on your arms using something like that, like wtf. The legs have the exact same problem around the knees the osrs model does, how're you really gon na bend your legs? It seems like"maybe" it's separate dishes, allowing some motion.
The chain within the groin means there no actual plate there congratz! You can walk! Still can't do much in terms of raising a defense or swining a sword! Speaking of defenses, it might be the only update here. While it's clearly made entirely from metal and couldn't possibly be light enough to be practical, it's at least smaller, and a more historically precise silhouette, though only just barely. But hey, why am I bothering? These versions were created and are very outdated by the criteria of RS3, so they're not just a prime instance of armour design in RS3.
