I'm on the fence cheap RuneScape gold with matters like this. I whole heartedly sense that effort reward. I am the kind of runescape player who will do well with ability rotations and switches, but the majority of the time I simply can't be bothered and wind up doing revolution. On the flip side, I completely believe that those who are willing to get sweaty and switch like mad men, should be rewarded with faster kills, etc. the runescape game absolutely wants a system which works, is responsive and reliable, but exactly what I believe it requires above that even, is a suitable and optionally in-depth tutorial to learning the runescape game and it's variety of mechanisms.
Make a brand new one from scratch that does a suitable job introducing the game that is legitimate to you and they will need to ditch Ashdale since the tutorial. For helping facilitate you into other 14, make guides or paths. Fixing those items (among a lot of other things I'd imagine) could be a massive help with not just earning new runescape players with mobile, but also keeping them playing. They did a few tests and discovered that more runescape players stuck around when they had been shipped to tutorial island so the shift was made around the center of 2018. The changes aren't all that big but it has the exact same graphical rework from beneath tides that are cursed.
I don't feel that you're giving MTX enough credit tbh, many of these games that are doing really really well that have lots of MTX are different to RS in a few ways - they don't have any end goal in terms of progress, there isn't any 5.4b xp mark where you go oh shit ok there's nothing more that MTX can get me and you then move oh fuck jesus christ I wasted plenty of money on thisparticular Games with this rather MTX model do not have an end point and that's by design, individuals who spin 5.4b (or perhaps max/a few 99s/120s ect) are met with an emptiness that is somewhat unparalleled and so they will quit once they meet that goal, other games do not have that kinda objective.
Similarly other games mostly had MTX within their beginning, RS runescape players are largely conservative in nature (although you could argue that this has changed lately ) and so big changes such as adding MTX and making the runescape game largely MTX centric will push them off, and it's in droves, to OSRS. I do however agree that the runescape game is far too complicated for the general market, particularly the new runescape player experience but also as you have mentioned having to try to remember each and every key on your keyboard and what action it corresponds to, the customisability is in some way that the downfall of RS3. Generally people prefer simplicity which is evident in OSRS' runescape player count. I really don't feel that you're fully correct though, as the others have mentioned among those things with RS3 is you may make it as complicated as you desire or as easy.
