Let look at the RS3 model cuz it is also pretty bad. Those shoulders, you'd have next like this, like wtf. The legs have the exact same problem around the knees that the osrs model does you really gon na bend your legs? It resembles"maybe" it's different plates, allowing some motion. The series within the groin means there's likely no plate congratz! You're able to walk! Can't do much in terms of lifting a defense or swining a sword, though!
Talking of shields, it might be the only upgrade here. As soon as it's clearly made completely out of metal and couldn't possibly be mild enough to be sensible, it's at least smaller, and also a more historically precise shape, although only just barely. But hey, why am I even bothering? These models were made nearly 8 years ago and are extremely obsolete by RS3's criteria, so they are not just a prime example of armour layout in RS3 anyway.
I am in favor of RS3 however I doubt it is that. It is probably more despair because the runescape accountant and game they adored taken away from these, the community divide, and both variations of the runescape game aren't what people would have probably desired or expected. RS2 was still in a fine place before RS3 dropped and had much better plans for boss drop tables in the time that I believe OSRS should have thought more. OSRS has completely made skilling immaterial in that feeling. Likewise we all know the difficulties with RS3.
However I have to say I really do want others we OSRS Gold encounter attempt an RS3 Ironman if only on heritage. I haven't gotten to play with in some time due to cost, however an RS3 Ironman going for a pursuit cape is among the most compact, enjoyable ways to play Runescape imo. Many men and women despise the keys and what that's understandable, however the couple keys you receive from completing each quest along with the bonus XP that comes with them actually does make the grind more manageable to get runescape players without too long as others. For me personally at this stage in my life I can't justify spending. It is not even maxed by 20 hours clicking on precisely the skill to in most cases.
