Apparently, it is something which's unlike anything else Blizzard has ever done before. According to Allen, the new game is similar to anything Blizzard's ever done, and Chilton"plays that genre of sport very deeply".
"You've got to determine how you want to invest," said Brack. "We've got a lot of different senior game developers who have a lot of different interests in a lot of different genres. Tom Chilton worked on WoW for more than 13 years. He and I, in my previous job, began a new job that wasn't something such as Blizzard has done before. He is passionate about it. He plays with that genre of game quite deeply. He understands it, he's excited about it, and we wish to help him do that."
Perhaps this is the game Chilton is working on? Either waywe hope to discover soon- maybe even in BlizzCon, which is currently underway, and goes on until tomorrow.
Blizzard's upcoming demonstration for World of Warcraft Classic is now available to pre-load. In other words, if you own a Virtual Ticket for BlizzCon 2018. Standard ticket holders can download the demo after the first day, in addition to try it to the show floor. Pre-loading should"make things as smooth as possible", based on neighborhood manager Ythisens.
"Over the following 24 hours, we are going to be allowing the ability to download the WoW Classic demo throughout the Battle.net app for players who have obtained the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket, as well as regular BlizzCon ticket holders who have included their own Virtual Goodies code to their Battle.net account. "If you don't find the option to set up the demo right away, don't worry -- you'll still have plenty of time to get the client before the demo goes live during BlizzCon next week. We can not wait for you to get a peek at what we've been working on, and hope you enjoy this preview of what is to come"
