How do I earn money? Well, to be honest, it's almost impossible not to make money. Chopping down trees, mining for metal and fishing all look like jobs but in fact, everything in Old School RuneScape has a worth. This means whatever you are currently doing is jump to benefit you in some way, financially.
How do I sell my things? I recommend the exchange, it is the place to be if you are buying or selling anything. From party hats to the bare essentials, the exchange that is grand will have everything. The grand exchange is located in Varrock, which can be north of Lumbridge. You should avoid the market for the time being, if you're just starting a new account perhaps. Build an inventory up and then return to earn a little fortune.
Get on the quests. Believe it or not, Old School RuneScape has more quests than you could shake a stick at. From doing the boring tasks like chopping down trees. At the end of each pursuit, you'll make something to reward you for your time. When it's an item or a bag of gold, you'll be paid for the time.
Make friends. This might look like a silly tip, but there is a whole lot to do in Old School RuneScape rather than all of it can be done alone. So it will save your time in the long term to have a nice catalogue of buddies. A number of the more rewarding quests get questing together and will expect a group of your most powerful allies buddy.
