OSRS combat requires fast and precise clicking

The question is... why would you get a 99 ability? Theres no need to max some skill to 99 to play Runescape. Yes some end game PVM requires a FEW non-combat skills to be pretty large (not even near 99 however ).
Im currently 109 battle (126 is max) on my main, and all of my non-combat skills are 70 or lower, which is pretty easy to achieve and large enough for pretty much everything I want to do. Im playing very casual. There are weeks that im not playing 1 hour. I do whatever I was doing when I logged out and can progress and jump back in at any time.
It grindy because you want it to be. I've been playing OSRS since launch and I still do not have a single 99 ability because it's simply not essential to appreciate - or be good at Runescape. This is not like WoW, where your path is streamlined and everybody has the very same objectives. The battle system might be easy on first glance but notably in PvP and endgame PvM, it can have a great deal of depth and it has a"ability ceiling".
OSRS combat requires fast and precise clicking, which requires a ton more skill than tab targetting and spamming keyboard buttons to get rotations like in WoW. I've never heard of the"bug" you are speaking about.
