Hunter suffers with amazing dps at the beginning, from the opposite, but drops off since ammo is a limitation of their dps. And Shaman awesome dps using Windfury was a bug that I read, so it'd be interesting if it'd even exist in WoW Classic.
Only gotta remind everyone there are is only 1 question to ask yourself as much as choosing a course. Are you really going to raid, or not? There is no other question. Then all the strategies and considerations become vitally important, Since if you're going to raid.
As you are enjoying to take pleasure in the Earth, do the quests, socialize, for the interest of those items, not as a stepping stone for raiding if you are NOT likely to raid, then it doesnt matter that much. And thats perfectly fine. Me, I burned out on raiding and never really went back. So am gonna be that guy that chooses a race course combo for roleplay the fun and group synergy, and thats it.
Back in the days when you were trying to get advice about what class was better, you finally end up with the conclusion that they all are good. Just decide which one goes with your play style, and the race you choose. Keep in mind that if you want to be a Shaman you HAVE to be Ally for Paladins, or Horde.
