I'm a gamer who began in the 80's and it is sad to find the direction gaming is moving. The gaming community seems to becoming increasingly more inpatient and searching for fast satisfaction by betting real money on this type of stuff. Spending actual money for shortcuts. Purchasing equipment that you are supposed to work for in game. Not attempting to be a hater, but here's some feedback: loot boxes are the bane of this gaming market. They are loathed by people and also the fact you're expressing so much joy from a gambling process is very off-putting. Imagine if a child is viewing this and doesn't know any better then spends countless dollars on the app because he watched how much pleasure you have out of it. Your description makes it seem like you are interested in to have an open discussion about the monetization - which is fine and commendable.
Your response to the rewards that are loot-box is really just praising this monetization system that is sketchy-looking. Particularly when you consider the fact you spent $100 just to unlocked leather, steel and iron gear as opposed to Ebony, Glass or Daedric - there really is no reason for you to be excited over such low-level stuff. As a content creator, it is important for you to call a monetization system when it seems unethical as what seems to be the case with The Elder Scrolls Blades. (Obviously, I haven't played it , so I don't understand everything about it - i.e. how frequently can we earn chests for enjoying ) You seem like a good enough dude, so I mean no disrespect but it's hard for me to take you seriously as it seems Christmas morning to you for unlocking low-level gear in the most despised monetization plot in the business. I state this not to bash on you or your job (you do not deserve this and I find the. Ruder people in this comment section are unjust in their outrage), but I hope that you learn and improve.
