TERA's combat is easily the best part of the game

If you're looking for a good solo class that may get you up to maximum level fast and safely, the Lancer is an adequate option. It has arguably the best survivability with its shield block strike that, after successfully blocking, permits you to follow up with a highly effective combo that does decent damage.
Plus it's very good training for a tank, which is a challenging job in almost any MMORPG but a person has to do it, and the Lancer is one of the very best. There are other choices that can clear packs of enemies faster, like the Gunner or Sorcerer, but just keep in mind you want to be more on your feet as your area for error will be smaller.
Played this game very briefly when it first came out on PC, and that I knew from that day that it was meant to get a games console. The PC mouse and keyboard controls felt clunky as hell because of this. It was like D3, but in a different manner. Where D3 the motion was the biggest differentiation, in Tera, I'd image the camera and rapid combat would yield far better.
For men and women who only have the normal 3 button mice, it is common for both principal buttons to be put to camera manipulation, while the wheel is either free look or some other function. The computer keyboard is where all of the"crabbing" occurs. All the keys cause you to have an awkward posture while attempting to keep up with this activity. Controllers definitely do not have this issue.
