Like many games of its kind, Fortnite: Battle Royale is on a program. The weekly conflict pass conflicts go every Tuesday in the first morning Eastern Time: if there's no server downtime, they appear at 4:00 a.m.. When there is downtime for a new update, developer Epic Games declares it daily before and it starts at 4:00 a.m., using the new content and challenges moving live once the downtime is finished. There is even a tiny countdown on the challenge page that suggests as much. For Week 5, however, there seems to be something wrong.
If you go to check the Week 5 challenges in Fortnite right now, all you see is a small message that states"unlocks in 0 minutes"with seven empty places under it, just like for any weeks to which the challenges have yet to unlock. It has been like that because 4:00 a.m.. In the time of the writing, that means the challenges have been stuck in this limbo for almost an hour.
