The downside to the R6 Academy appears to be Rainbow Six Siege Credits its focus on content. The Steam community guides can be videos they are frequently written articles and could be consulted at any time. Players are not as inclined to sit down and watch a movie which demands their time and attention whilst matchmaking than they are to quickly skim over a written composition, and so excluding them feels like R6 Academy might be needlessly excluding possibly valuable info.
Either way, R6 Academy seems like it could be an absolutely essential tool for anyone with an interest in Siege.
I have been a fan of Ubisoft's games for decades, playing, following, and engaging in Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, The Division, Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed, with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time being one of the first games I bought with my own money.
Tuesday, September 4 saw Operation Grim Sky finally hit on the live servers of Rainbow Six Siege.
By far the issue has been connection mistakes affecting matchmaking, particularly for North American players on every platform. The problems have been reported once the upgrade came, and two days after, continue to cause problems. Ubisoft has offered workarounds involving changing your DNS into the public ones of Google, however, the potency of this was contested from the community.
