The Seattle Seahawks have given up one of the most disappointing draft picks in team history.
Before the first training camp began on Thursday, the team gave up defensive striker Malik McDowell on the grounds of non-rugby injuries.
In the second round of the draft, Seahawks selected McDowell from Michigan State University in the second round. They hoped that he would quickly become a starter and improve the team's passing impact. But before the start of the training camp last summer, he suffered an ATV accident and suffered a serious concussion. He never played a defense for the Seahawks.
McDowell's rookie season was spent on the injury list. In December last year, he was arrested for disturbing order in a nightclub. He apologized on Twitter afterwards.
In the absence of any indication that he can return to the game through medical examinations, Seahawks cut McDowell is not surprising www.lolga.com .
