Can MapleStory Test Server Really Works?

Hey guys, welcome to maplestory2 mesos, now we are going to explore the impact of Test Server, as we all know, when there was a brand new upgrade for the sport, it would be published on Evaluation Servers, and a few players would be choosen randomly to test this update in advance!
The question is not how I'd feel about not being chosen. The question is what is better for the sport. And I think picking testers randomly would be a mistake.
Last time we had Tespia, years past, the testers were chosen at random. Because of this, the huge majority were not interested in testing, but only in fooling around with all the auto-leveling and free equipment offered by the server. And only a few were actually testing.
The result was an entire failure and Tespia being closed off for ages.
We do not need a repeat of that. I hope Nexon does do some sort of "interview" before accepting people, to make sure that they know what they're signing up for. The simple fact that there's an NDA involved this time - a legally binding contract you need to sign with your actual ID - gives me hope that Nexon is much more serious about player testing, this moment.
TBH I do not understand why everyone is so eager to enter Tespia. Well, actually, I do understand. "Get to see the new content before everybody else." But that is not exactly what Tespia needs. That is not exactly what the game needs. And if you consider it, it's of little use to you (generic you) too. So you get to see the new content, so what? You're not allowed to tell anyone about it. Playing with it does not offer you anything for your real account - you're going to have to play with it all over again to the live servers once it is released. And meanwhile, for "testing", you may have to run through it over and over while it glitches or crashes or behaves oddly, attempt and work out whether it is a bug or planned, and compose detailed bug reports, with screenshots and videos and materials. Does that seem like fun? It's an actual job that need to find a mesos as reward, since a good deal of it is quite dull and bothersome. www.4ms2.com
